Open Linear Encoders

An open linear encoder consists of a measuring scale and a scanning head moving opposite each other, contact-free and without a protective housing. The exposed design enables significantly higher accuracy and resolution than an enclosed encoder, suited for applications demanding maximum precision in a clean environment.
