Torque motors

Torque motor is a motor that is designed to achieve high torque in small size and at relatively low speed.  Torque motors usually have many pole pairs and they come in 2 major configurations: Frameless – The rotor and the stator are separate, and the customer need to assemble the motor into the application; Housed – The motor is already assembled at the manufacturer site (same as standard motors) and it can come with an encoder and brake as needed.
