Inductive Measuring Technology – The AMOSIN® Principle

• Based on AMO’s unique inductive (electromagnetic) scanning method
• Measuring scale made of stainless steel with precise laser-etched periodic patterns
• Multilayer microscopic coil structure operating with high-frequency alternating fields
• Result: a highly accurate sinusoidal signal with a maximum deviation of only 0.1% from the ideal waveform
• Advantages: exceptional immunity to dirt, dust, liquids, and magnetic fields

Linear Encoders

• Designed for linear motion measurement up to 32 meters
• Available as thin adhesive scales or rigid stainless-steel-guided scales
• Accuracy: ±3 µm/m after linear error compensation
• Maximum measuring speed: up to 60 m/s
• Non-contact scanning for minimal wear and extended service life
• Easy installation with multiple mounting configurations

Angle Encoders

• ATEX-approved models available for use in explosive and sensitive environments
• Wide range of diameters – from 80 mm up to several meters
