TWO COMPACT STAINLESS STEEL HOUSINGS WITH INNOVATIVE ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGY
The ingenious geometry and compact dimensions of the hygiene sensor pms make the most flexibly applicable ultrasonic sensor of its class. The standard version with a D12 adapter shaft permits installation in a mounting clip or a flange screw connection. The D12 bayonet catch enables the sensor to be installed quickly and affordably in an established fastening system. The structure of the housing ensures that the flow profile of machine systems which are cleaned and sterilized by gassing are subject to the minimum of restrictions.
Designed and constructed in accordance with EHEDG guidelines.
ECOLAB and FDA-conform materials.
The design of the wash-down stainless steel housing with no crevices and dirt edges makes it perfectly suited to intensive cleaning and disinfection. Cleaning fluids can flow off from the housing in almost all conceivable installation positions. Even with horizontal installation for vertical downwards measurement, the rear side of the housing maintains an angle of ≥3°. Bacteria are unable to find any purchase on the smooth surface; cleaning agents flow away completely.
VERSATILE APPLICATIONS
For safe production under the most difficult of conditions in the pharmaceutical and foodstuffs industry.
The pms sensor represents the ideal future solution for modern packaging and processing machinery in a wide operational area ranging from a medical context to the foodstuffs industry. In addition to the hygienic design of the sensor, the materials incorporated in it are especially important: only selected high-performance plastics are used in the housing. Their excellent chemical and thermal characteristics make the sensors very well-suited for contact with food. The sensor can be installed in a machine without any seams, fastening brackets or drillholes. Even the cable can be installed outside the process to facilitate the most hygienic solution possible.
MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY
Measuring operation: Echo sound logging
Large variation matrix for a wide range of requirements and customer wishes.
With four operational detection ranges, three different output signals and two fastening versions, the pms sensors represent the most comprehensive ultrasonic sensor family in the hygiene sector. The sensors with a push-pull switching output have an IO link integrated in the version 1.1.
