Harmonic drive consists of three main components:

1. Wave Generator: A ring bearing with a flange connected to the motor. The Wave Generator typically integrates into the Flex-spline on one side and interfaces with the motor via flange and bolts on the other side.
2. Flex-spline: A flexible ring with external teeth, positioned between the Wave Generator and the output ring (Circular Spline). The teeth of the Flex-spline engage at two contact points with the internal teeth of the Circular Spline.
3. Circular Spline: A ring with internal teeth that rotates the output shaft.

This design ensures precise and efficient transmission of motion, critical for demanding applications across various industries.

Harmonic Actuators

A harmonic actuator consists of a harmonic drive and motor, with optional additions such as an absolute rotary encoder, and either an electromagnetic or electromechanical brake. The actuator can also include a built-in torque sensor and support for EtherCAT and CANopen communication. The manufacturer offers flexibility in input and output interfaces and provides custom manufacturing upon request.
